Public Health Behavior Solutions (PHBS) provides early childhood educators, head start coordinators and daycare provides with injury prevention staff development training to providing educational materials for new parents and families to help reduce their exposure to injury risks.
These can include the most common injury risks including, but not limited to, safety in and around motor vehicles, pedestrian and bicycle safety, poisoning, suffocation, burns, falls from windows and balconies, drowning, and child abuse and neglect. Cognitive-based Integrative (CBI) Programs, are also available to reduce adolescent risk behavior and other environmental exposures that affect children and teens.
