Public Health Behavior Solutions (PHBS) provides schools with injury prevention programs and activities that are designed to fit the school's needs.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
These can include bicycle and pedestrian skills, and motor vehicle occupant safety (child passenger safety-car seats and booster seats) activities to reduce risks of students traveling to and from school. These activities can be included during or after school, on weekends, during aftercare, or included in an already existing school carnival.
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL
These can include motor vehicle occupant safety such as the use of seat belts, early driving risks such as distracted driving, etc., bullying, relationship abuse, and reducing risky behaviors.
